This months featured truck belongs to an old friend of mine Barrie Stevens. It is a Tamiya MAN 18.540 with one of the original Carson tipper trailers. This truck supports the adage that a truck is never finished!

The truck was built a number of years ago ( 6,7 8 or maybe more). ESC sound and light are from servonaut which gives great control and good sound. Other upgrades from the kit include Aluminium wheels, full working marker lights and the cab rear perimiter lights, which include working indicators. The roof features a working beacon bar.

The latest upgrade to the truck was the insatllation of a custom made deck plate.

Of course there is detail in the cab as well!

The trailer is one of the original Carson tipper trailers together with a Carson actuator. Originally this was driven by a separate battery and a second receiver (bound to the same model as the truck). The receiver basically ran an ESC for the tipper mechanism. A few years ago Barrie rewired the truck so that the trailer could be driven by direct connection via a number of plugs ( which can be seen in the pictures).

Without further ado - here are the pictures.
