I don't know why but there is always a feeling of anxiety when it is set up time for a Club meet.

Will we be able to get in to the hall, will Rob get the trailer there, will the lock on the hall door work, will we have the help we need to set up, what has been forgotten? Well we have always got in, the trailer has always arrived, we have always got in to the hall and those of you that help with set up always arrive. So Why?

The Crew is always there early doors, ready to unload the trailer and all the other bits. First though we have to clear the hall of school bits. Then we can start with unloading the trailer, setting up tables and chairs in the hall and kitchen. Setting out the signage, getting the reception desk set up, starting the boiler and setting up the food area. In the hall the layout is going down plus around 20 sets of base sheets for the yards, Fuel station and shop, hedges, quarry area, and more. Then the yards build starts around 9:15. Will all the people turn up and how many. Well, shortly after that people started to arrive, bringing their trucks unloading cars, registering attendance and we see what we have achieved.

This meet we had nearly 60 drivers. The most we have ever had, we still worry though.

Anyway, What a wonderfully busy and friendly meet. Regulars, returners and newbies. Welcome all. All down to the committee and the wonderful band of helpers we have around us. Onwards and upwards!

Enough of that and on to the trucks, A huge assortment and not just trucks. Everything is going up a gear, Loads, heavy equipment, yards. The lot. Thanks you all.

On to the pics.
