  4. Chairman’s Report

Welcome to the second AGM of West Country RC Truckers Club.

Introductions should be unnecessary after two years, but if you wish to see more about the Club Director’s please take a look at our website.

The aims and objectives of the Club remain as they did at the outset, to make the Club the best it can be, based on ideas and feedback from you, the members.

As we continue to invest and develop the Club, please let us know what you would like to see on the layout, or what we could improve on at meets and shows.

I would just like to remind you the Club does have a few rules to help facilitate the smooth running of the Club, and these are also posted on our website, and are in place for your safety and enjoyment, and we ask you all to follow the rules at all times.

Now for a few thank yous.

Firstly, I would like to thank my fellow Director’s and Committee Members who work tirelessly to run the Club in the background, and often forego the opportunity to run their own trucks at meets.

I would also like to extend my thanks to Lin, Claire and the other ladies who assist with the kitchen and catering from time to time.

I would also like to thank the members who regularly assist in the set up and tear down at the meets, and those who support the set up and tear down at both the Truck Shows we attend.

I  would also like to thank all our Members, Day drivers and spectators who attend our meets, your support for the Club is very much appreciated.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for the positive feedback the Club receives, at meets, and via our social media platforms.
