This is Paul Sparks yard, which is shared with Dan Brookes.
The layout was constructed before the club opened as he has had rc excavators in the past. The loading hopper was made in March 24, using a Bruder elevaterconverted to rc servo, also cut to size for loading trucks. It is an on-going project.
The 2 excavators are a Double E electric, bought 16 Months ago, and a hydraulic Kabolite 336 bought, bought a few weeks ago.
Truck is a scania 6x4 with the chassis extended. The Tipping body is scratch built as is the tipping gear. The tipper is about 8 years old and still going strong.
The Volvo dumper is a bruder, converted to 6 wheel drive, with a working tipper mechanism, bought complete 2yrs ago.
