What a wonderful meeting. We were so happy to welcome you all to our Christmas celebration meeting and a big thank you to all that came.
We alway try and do something special at this time of year, we have historically done a Christmas buffet but this year the lovely Lin provided a veritable feast, different things kept appearing throught the day and what a fantastic offering it was. So a huge thank you to Lin and her lovely granddaughters and daughter in law for all there help in serving you all.
Second in line was the raffle, some lovely prizes and we hope all you lovely winners enjoyed it.
Third, there was a competition for the best truck or yard dressed to a Christmas theme, our outgoing chairman Rob Briggs provided a Scania R620 kit for this.
Thank you all for coming and making this such a good meeting, especial thanks to those of you that dressed up, decorated their trucks and their yards.
Thanks to the set up team, not an easy layout to build due to the stage ( we never quite know how big it will be) , and the junction under the bridge. We hope you all enjoyed that with the little twist under the bridge.
A huge thanks to the whole team that curate these meetings month in month out.
Finally we hop you all have a very meery Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. See you all on January 11th when we will all be there and have a little driving challenge for you all.
